The Godfather Prequel Novel Coming Out Soon

A prequel to the late Mario Puzo’s best-selling novel of “The Godfather” is headed for bookstores in June 2012… The new novel titled “The Family Corleone” will be adapted by author Ed Falco from an unproduced screenplay that was written by Puzo himself….

The story is set in 1930s Depression-era New York and tells how Vito Corleone rose through the criminal underworld to become the influential Don Corleone in “The Godfather”.

“The Godfather” was originally published in 1969 and has sold more than 21 million copies. Puzo followed up with two other 2 books in the series — The Sicilian” in 1984 and “Omerta”  in 2000.

Puzo’s son Tony described “The Family Corleone” in a statement as “a novel that is true to Mario Puzo’s legacy”… I hope that that’s true and that this book will honor the classic characters that we (wether we like to admit it or not) admired so much!

Louis Vuitton’s Miel de la Belle Jardiniere Honey

In 2009, Louis Vuitton installed three hives on the roof of its headquarters in Paris, welcoming around 200,000 city bees. This year, they produced their first harvest of honey and the new LV product the Miel la Belle Jardinière was born.

We can’t get too excited though because they have only made a limited quantity of jars and each one of them has been sent to a select number of friends and family of the house!

Sequins Street Art

Artist Theresa Himmer created these sequins-like installations in Iceland in 2008 and 2006. Now this my friends is what I call BLING!!! The pieces are inspired by a glacier, a volcano and a waterfall. Her work here almost adds another dimension to these walls while highlighting how nature responds to changes in the world and our urban lives!!!.
